Maria Rodriguez's inspiration to become an entrepreneur began with her parents. They owned a small antique furniture and collectibles shop in downtown San Jose. She seen how hard they worked, their devotion to customer service and passion for what they did. They were ethical and they cared! And she was inspired.

She left her accounting career and joined the beauty industry in 2010, with her own private Hard Gel Nails Studio (www.hardgelnails.com), but it was at the age of 14 years old that her obsession for beauty, symmetry, and creativity was born. From intricate designs on nails to beautiful brows, shaded eyeliner and powdery lips. 
Her interest in permanent cosmetics began in 2015 with her own desire for the services having overplucked her eyebrows (like a lot of us!). She has trained with multiple World-Renowned artists and has since then been certified 17 times in Microblading, Powder Brows, Combo Brows, Nano Brows, Feather Brows, Tinted Lips, Blushed Lips, Lash Enhancement Eyeliner, Designer Eyeliner, Tattoo Lightning/Removal, Scalp Micropigmentation and Microneedling. Being certified multiple times in each service allows her to perfect her skills and keep up with the latest looks and trends.​
